I am a string theorist and teach data modeling in one of my courses in a prominent university. The data PROVES that CO2 is not the only cause of warming. There must be a stronger cause. If evidence or procedure contradicts the theory, the theory must be modified or scrapped. That is real science. Anything else is religious or political opinion. And not one AGW believer that has been here has even once come up with science to prove the theory. That's explained by the fact that it does not exist. Even the local forecasters can't say what to expect. With La Nina (pacific ocean is cool and not evaporating as much moisture to us as usual), we are still getting some polar oscillation, though we can't tell if it's as much as last winter. That's a cold, hard fact. Warmer summers do not cost as much as colder winters. I have gas central heat, electric a/c. If you have electric on both, look in your electrical panel. The a/c is on a 30 or 40 amp breaker, usually. The heater is always on a 60. Tell me which one will require more resources to run. The portrayal of Kyoto as something worth saving or extending is poppycock. Kyoto was a lie from the start and deserves to die in Durban, let's hope it does. BTW China's CO2 emissions exceeded 9 billion tons in 2010 and will likely be twice the emissions of the USA by 2012 and four times more than the USA by 2020. China announced today that if the EU and the USA commit to CO2 limits now in Durban that China will consider agreeing to limits AFTER 2020. In the mean time most USA MSM blame Republicans for no progress on CO2 reduction. Surber also equates the death of the climatology movement to this Monty Python "Dead Parrot" sketch.
